How purchases work
Tapbound is operated by SkyWay Mark Trading Ventures (TapBound.com). Purchases on Tapbound are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. The price, currency, and what is included are displayed at the Paddle checkout before payment is taken. By completing a purchase you accept the terms shown at checkout.
Right of withdrawal: EU and UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 daysof the transaction without giving any reason (“cooling-off period”), unless you have requested immediate performance of the service and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content has been fully delivered or the service fully performed.
Because Tapbound begins processing your build immediately on payment, you will be asked at checkout to confirm that you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived once the build is delivered. If the build has not yet completed, you retain the full 14-day right of withdrawal.
To exercise the right of withdrawal before delivery, email [email protected] with your order reference. We will refund the purchase price in full within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request.
Platform-caused build failures
If a build fails due to a fault on Tapbound’s side, such as a worker error, an infrastructure outage, or a platform bug, the rebuild credit consumed is refunded to your account automatically. You will not be charged twice for our error.
A build that fails because of your configuration (for example, an invalid signing certificate or a store policy rejection of your content) is not a platform failure. The reason is shown to you plainly, and the next attempt uses a new credit.
Discretionary refunds
Outside the statutory cooling-off period, refunds are at our discretion. We review requests case by case. Factors we consider include: how recently the purchase was made, whether the build was delivered, and the reason for the request. We aim to be fair.
What refunds do not cover
- Apple or Google developer account fees, which are charged directly by those platforms and are outside our control.
- Builds already delivered where the failure is not Tapbound’s fault.
- Store rejections that result from your content or configuration rather than a platform defect.
- Purchases where the statutory cooling-off period has expired and no platform fault occurred.
How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address on your account.
- Include your Paddle order reference (in your receipt email) and a brief description of the reason.
- We will acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm the outcome within 10 business days.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle within 5 to 10 business days of approval.
